PARTY REVIEW UPDATE - So we held our daughter's 13th birthday party (with 14 teenagers) in the courtyard at Mrs Pasta and couldn't have asked for a better host, food or venue. We had the best night.......thank you so much team!! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was sensational, but best of all Angela made it so simple for me. Her communication and helpful ideas were fabulous. Angela was organised well before with pre orders from the teens, she set up a gorgeous drinks table for the girls, let my daughter connect her birthday play list through the restaurant speakers (apologies for the Taylor Swift overload everyone else) served beautiful food, and even made the red velvet birthday cake in house! If I could give more than 5 stars for Mrs Pasta, I would. Thank you so much Angela, Issac and team. We will see you again and highly recommend you to everyone. Just tried Mrs Pasta for the first time and will definately be going back. It was outstanding! The owner Angela is also the chef, and her authentic homestyle cooking is absolutely delicious. The homemade gnocchi melts in your mouth, the cheesy garlic bread enticed us all back, even after we were full, and Angela's signature sauce is a must try. Issac's home made tiramasu is also worth a trip. With so many choices on offer we are looking forward to trying some more. The ambience adds to the experience with festive decor and lights, friendly staff and quick efficient service. I love finding a new local restaurant that surpasses your expectations. Do yourself a favour and try Mrs Pasta next time you go out. It has something for everyone in the family. So impressed we have booked for our daughter's birthday. Thanks guys. We will be see you soon.

Mrs Pasta really delivered where it counts – the food was genuinely delicious, and the staff were absolute gems. Super friendly, super helpful – they made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. We ended up sitting out the front, which was a bit “meh” in terms of vibe – but turns out there’s a lovely section out the back we didn’t even notice. Rookie mistake. The only real gripe was the stools in the upper front area – comically high for the bench. Felt like we were perched on bar stools trying to eat off a coffee table. Not ideal. That said, the food and service more than made up for it. We’ll definitely be back – just at a more ergonomically friendly table next time.

We had a great experience dining here. My son has ASD and only eats certain foods, and I was extremely pleased when the owner organised a cheese pizza (made from turkish bread) even though it was not on their menu. My son loved it! I ate the homemade cannelloni which were delicious and another had the boscaiola pasta. The decorations and venue is amazing too!

The food was fantastic and the service very friendly. We had a great spot on the terrace outside. Mrs Pasta Balmain offers a cozy and authentic Italian dining experience in Sydney’s Balmain neighborhood. Guests have praised the restaurant for its delicious homemade dishes and friendly service. Had a great time at Mrs. Pasta Balmain! We ordered the Boscaiola, Three Cheese, and Alla Norma — all were good and full of flavour. The vibe was chill, the staff were lovely, and the cute birds around the outdoor seating made it even better. Definitely coming back!

Such a cute and relaxing place for some authentic pasta! Portions are generous and service was friendly! Hidden away is a courtyard at the back for bigger groups with an Italian flair with two beautiful birds! Will visit again if I am In the area.

If you want to experience Italy without going to Italy, come here. Food is amazing . The Congo African grey Parrot was very intelligent and got to take photos with it in my hand. We had Napolianan seafood for 2 with Italian salad and wine: most enjoyable. Highly recommended place to dine

What a lovely evening spent with the family. The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was so inviting with a touch of Italian fun! Picorino, the parrot kept us entertained.
